Cable Recovery – Highclere
FlowNet was tasked by one of its clients with recovering approximately 1,000 metres of redundant cable in Highclere.
Before recovery began, the team used cable-toning methods to identify and confirm the correct asset. This verification was a critical control, ensuring the intended cable could be safely isolated, cut and removed from the network.
The redundant cable was then recovered using a five-tonne Grundo winch, with the team maintaining a controlled and efficient operation throughout the works.
PROJECT OUTCOME
Approximately 1,000 metres of redundant cable safely identified, cut and recovered from the network using specialist winching equipment.
The works were completed successfully, with the redundant cable removed safely and efficiently.
